In the past few months, I've seen countless photographers post images from shooting at the Volunteer Park Conservatory. Quite frankly, I didn't understand the hype that came from that location. It was just a huge greenhouse with a bunch of pointy plants. Even though that's true, I was blown away by how beautiful and serene the Conservatory really is.
But I wasn't there to relax. I was there to shoot some portraits with my friend, Jordan, to try out some editorial style portraiture.
Afterwards, we explored Volunteer Park, and came across a massive reservoir with a threatening-looking entrance, complete with spider webs and barbed wire strung over a 8ft. tall fence.
