"Fashions fades, style is eternal." - Yves Saint Laurent
It's a well-known quote; a strong statement that sounds flashy and cool, but in reality, quite hard to understand until you meet someone who exemplifies it. A couple weeks into my first quarter at the University of Washington, I met someone with an undeniably unique sense of style. Her glasses caught me at first- she managed to blend together elements of modernity and antiquity in a way that worked very well.
Her name was Lulu.
