Bellevue Downtown Park, in the heart of Bellevue, WA, used to be one of my favorite places to photograph, walk around in, and to just breathe. Lately, it's been overrun by rampant construction and amateur Pokemon trainers, eager to cash in on the latest mobile gaming trend. It's annoying as hell.
But, I managed to find some peace after the dust settled (literally, considering everyone and their mother kicks up all the dirt whenever some kid screams, "Squirtle!!") and managed to enjoy a nice evening stroll around the park, as well as some of the neighboring downtown streets.
So, with camera in hand, I walked around Bellevue and snapped a few photos, trying to be a tourist in my own home.
